Anti-WWE Videos; TNA Match Quality; Vampiro, More

[Partial Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter]

– Apparently, Vampiro and Jeff Jarrett talked a lot during Jarrett’s latest trip to Puerto Rico, and some say that Jarrett was talking like he was interested in bringing in Vampiro. Some in TNA were negative towards Vampiro after he made some remarks during an interview on the Insane Clown Posse’s website that they did not like.

– Many are surprised that there is such little interest in the current TNA product right now, as most believe that the company is putting out some of it’s best matches in a long time. The 10/22 show featured a 10 minute long match between Chris Sabin/Sonjay Dutt vs. Michael Shane/Kazarian, as well as others that had the crowd on their feet for a greater part of the match.

– Some in TNA are negative about the promotional campaign of videos knocking the WWE. Former WWE video producer Dave Sahadi, now making videos for TNA, has been doing a great job, however some believe his videos are a bit too anti-WWE.

TNA prefers running the videos that revolve around the six-sided ring, trying to put over that the competition is old and square, one of the lines in the video is “They have Madison Avenue and spend millions in advertising, but we kick butt in the ring.”
