– Although they are still filming a movie together, after Steve Austin opened up talks with WWE about a return, Goldberg became bitter towards Austin, and has been keeping to himself as of late. Austin and Nash still get along well, and talk about many different subjects on the set. Nash thinks that Goldberg acts like it’s still 1998, and that he’s on the same star level that he was back then.
Austin, who hates the Jarretts and dislikes TNA, asked Nash why he would bother signing with TNA. At the time, Nash’s contract had not been signed, and Austin said that Nash should call Vince McMahon. Austin figures that under the circumstances, Nash could get a nice $250,000 yearly salary to do some writing work for the company, if he didn’t go to TNA. Apparently, Vince is still a bitter towards Jarrett for the time Jarrett pulled in $200,000 for jobbing to Chyna, in his last match for the company in 1999.
