The Rock Lands Another Movie Role, ROH Breaks iPPV Record

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has noted on WhoSay.com that he has landed the role of RoadBlock in the sequel to the "G.I. Joe" movie. Johnson has posted a photo of himself along with the G.I. Joe logo and a caption that reads "It's official. Call the Pentagon, get me my big ass gun. Rock's a Joe."

PWInsider.com is reporting that Ring of Honor shattered iPPV buyrate records with yesterday's "Best in the World 2011" event and also had to turn away an additional 100 fans from the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. This isn't the first time ROH has had to turn fans away from NYC events, as I witnessed fans being turned away from last year's "Final Battle" event, which also had a very good crowd turn out.
