Report: WWE Updates Wellness Policy; Bans Fake Marijuana

Nick Paglino

K2F4WOnline.com is reporting that WWE has updated its Wellness Policy, and has now placed a ban on the use of what is commonly referred to as "Spice" or "K2," (pictured at right) a synthetic or "fake" marijuana that is designed to simulate the effects of smoking marijuana.

The drug is currently legal in most of the United States, however, due to increasing concern for the synthetic, it’s quickly becoming a "drug of concern" for the Drug Enforcement Agency, and has therefore been made illegal in some states.

New of this Wellness Policy update has reportedly rubbed some of locker room the wrong way, as several WWE talents began to use the "fake marijuana" when WWE banned the real drug last year.
