Impact Wrestling Results (8/11) – Kurt’s Informant, Changes To Immortal?

Kurt Angle comes out with his championship and a steel chair, and he says everyone must be surprised in how he took out Sting on Sunday. He says he stands for truth and justice, and he wants to apologize to Sting, because he was being sincere last week. He heard some things over the course of the week that he didn't like, and Sting was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He says someone called him and told him what Jeff and Karen were up to, and this person said all wrestlers were scumbags and they had no integrity.

Kurt says someone has blood on their hands and it's not a wrestler, or Karen, it is Dixie Carter. Kurt says Dixie lied about knowing about Karen and Jeff being together, and the person that called Kurt said Dixie knew all along. He goes on to say that Dixie fed him lies about him being the centerpiece of the company surrounded by young up and comers, and Sting was on her side the whole time. He says he used this chair to take Sting out, and as long as he is champion, Dixie will never get her company back.

Sting comes up through the stage to surprise Kurt and he hits the chair out of his hands with his bat. Sting screams at him asking to know who made him do it and Kurt is on his knees begging Sting off until Hulk Hogan sneaks behind him and lays him out with a chair. Hogan and Kurt both beat up Sting and drag him to the ring while Kurt tells Sting that Hogan is the informant, and payback will be a bitch! They celebrate over Sting in the ring while the crowd boos them into a commercial.
