This podcast is a discussion with David Lagana and Dutch Mantell about what it’s like to be a booker in pro wrestling, the role of a creative team, his influences as a booker, difference between a writer and a booker, how Memphis shaped Smokey Mountain Wrestling and ECW, the story of the most successful match in TNA history and so much more.
"Well, I think if you wrestle, you have to be creative," Mantell says during the interview. "When I first started we didn't have writers, we had bookers, and sometimes you had to help that booker out. You had to come up with your own ideas. And sometimes they'd actually listen to you."
