Bound For Glory Series Match: James Storm vs. Bully Ray

Going into the match Mike Tenay lets it be known that Storm must win by submission in order to advance and move on in the Bound For Glory Series. James Storm and Bully Ray both make their way to the ring one after the other as their music sounds in the Orlando arena and hop into the ring. The match is formally announced and the bell rings to begin the match. Not much action early on in the match. Bully makes a few goes at Storm to no avail. A lot of basic back and forth action. Mid match Bully Ray takes a drink of Storm’s beer that is at ringside and spits it into Storm’s eye while referee Jackson James is distracted (shocking, no?). Not even a full minute later, Storm is able to retaliate and come back with an arm bar, with Ray barely able to make his way to the ropes to break the hold. Storm stays on top of things and follows up with a Sharpshooter, once again, Ray is able to reach the ropes. Storm comes at Ray a third tome with a Fujiwara arm bar, this hold is quickly reversed by Bully Ray who counters and rolls up for a two count, Storm just able to get out of the pin. Storm later tries to spit beer into the face of Bully Ray, who is able to duck just in time for the beer to go into the eyes of the referee. Storm is able to successfully apply an arm bar causing Ray to tap, but referee Jackson James calls for a disqualification and stops the match.

After the Match

Ray exclaims, “Get out of my face, bitch” as SoCal Val tries to interview Bully Ray at the end of the match. Ray turns to the fans and asks “Do you believe me now? I’m Bully Ray” repeating it several times before declaring himself the next “World Heavyweight Mother Fricking Champion” as he makes his way to the backstage area.
