Backstage: Josh Mathews Interviews Mark Henry

Backstage, Josh Mathews interviews Mark Henry. Henry talks about how popular opinion is that he can’t win the big one. Henry doesn’t like that opinion. He tells Mathews he wants him to come out and interview him after he becomes World Heavyweight Champion.

Backstage: Matt Striker Interviews Vickie Guerrero

Backstage, Matt Striker is with Vickie Guerrero. She laughs and says she’ll make a great C.O.O. if Triple H loses to CM Punk later tonight. She gives Striker a big kiss. She gives him the “call me” sign.

World Title: Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry

Orton is in control early on. A few minutes in, Orton locks Henry in a sleeper hold. However, Henry backs Orton into the corner, breaking the hold. Henry blasts Orton with a punch that knocks him out of the ring and onto the floor. Henry controls the offense again for a while until Orton makes another comeback. Henry eventually hits a World’s Strongest Slam for a nearfall. Henry comes off the middle rope with a splash attempt, but Orton gets his foot up to block it. Orton chop-blocks Henry from behind on his knee. Orton hits the Viper Pose but Henry rolls out of the ring. Orton goes for the RKO but Henry pushes him off. Henry follows up with a World’s Strongest Slam for a pin. He gets it, too. Clean.

After The Match: Mark Henry Interview

After the match, Josh Mathews interviews Mark Henry in the ring as the new World Champion, as he said he would earlier. Henry mocks Mathews for not believing in him. Henry calls the fans doubters and haters. Henry welcomes the fans to the Hall Of Pain. Henry says he’ll be the most dominant world champion ever.
