Jon Laurinaitis is shown near the entrance of the building welcoming and greeting the protestors. John Morrison is instructed to head to the ring in his street clothes after Morrison tells Laurinaitis that he sucks. Christian then enters, telling Laurinaitis that he needs to remove the interim title to which Laurinaitis tells Christian he wants him to go to the ring and face Morrison. Christian agreed.
As the Oklahoma Sooners’ fight song blares in the arena, we see Jim Ross make his way out to the announcers table. Jerry Lawler makes his way out next, followed by Michael Cole who had no music playing whatsoever. The crowd boos Cole as he puts on his headphones.
John Morrison vs. Christian (w/ Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, and Jack Swagger)
Quick match as Morrison and Christian both are formally introduced (Christian accompanied by Ziggler, Rhodes, and Swagger) and the bell rings and match begins. Both men are shown wearing their regular street clothes as there is a little back and forth to start the match with Christian taking the early advantage. Christian is able to spear Morrison barely a minute into the match for the pin and win. After the match each of the men hit their finishers on Morrison
Winner: Christian (w/ Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, and Jack Swagger
Triple H enters a room where John Laurinaitis is shown speaking on the phone with someone he continues to call “honey” (presumably his wife) and stares him down until Laurinaitis gets off the phone. He starts to talk about how much he loves WWE. Triple H simply asks Laurinaitis if he’s ever tried to “pick up his teeth with a bunch of broken fingers” as the cameras shoot to the ring.
