TVByTheNumbers.com is reporting that last night's UFC debut on FOX, which featured Junior Dos Santos defeating Cain Velasquez to become the new UFC Champion, drew a 2.4 rating and took in 4.64 million viewers.
The final number is expected to be adjusted, and will likely be a bit higher, due to coast-to-coast live viewing. The show went up against stiff competition and came in behind the GOP debate and the Oregon-Stanford college football game. It's being said that UFC was hoping to take in 3 million viewers, so they are likely happy with this number.
