Report: More Details On Chris Jericho & WWE Negotiations

We recently reported that talks between Chris Jericho and WWE, concerning a return to the company, broke down due to a stale mate on both sides. WZ originally reported that Jericho was interested in returning to WWE on a part-time basis, that would see him work limited dates, and allow him to work on other projects outside of WWE.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the talks cooled off when both Jericho and WWE couldn't come to terms on a money agreement, as Vince McMahon feels WWE made Jericho a star, and should be given a cut of his side project income.

There are also said to be creative differences between Jericho and WWE, as NBC feels that WWE superstars are part of the network talent roster as they pay WWE well to air both Raw and Smackdown, and eyebrows were said to be raised when Jericho decided to participate in "Downfall" and "Dancing With The Stars," which do not air on NBC.
