WWE Superstars

Scott Stanford and Josh Matthews are introduced to a respectable reaction.

1. Alex Riley defeated Mike McGillicutty. Alex "I still work here" Riley was out to a loud reaction for someone who hasn't been on Raw in months. McGillicutty came out to little reaction. The crowd was behind Riley big time when he was on offense. A huge "We Want Ryder" chant broke out momentarily but died out during match. You could hear crickets when McGillicutty was on offense, which is a shame because it was pretty solid stuff. I guess that's what happens when you don't give people a reason to care. In the end Riley hits the TKO to get the win.

2. WWE Tag Champions Air Boom defeated Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins. Air Boom was out first followed by Reks and Hawkins. Bourne and Hawkins started as Hawkins opened with a slap, which Bourne answered with a swift kick followed by a cool huracanrana. There was a tag to Kofi and they worked some come double team moves on Hawkins. Reks tagged in and and grounded Kofi. Reks and Hawkins dominated for the next couple minutes.

Kofi came back with a quick pin attempt on Reks followed by a tag to Bourne. The champs were back in control. The tag champs hit big dives to the outside on both guys and the Philly fans were really behind them at this point. It was Evan's turn to play babyface in peril and he did a damn good job of it. Bourne went for Air Bourne, but he was distracted by Hawkins, and Reks took advantage. The next several minutes featured Bourne getting beat down, but a kick to the jaw of Reks changed things. Kofi tagged in to a huge pop and he hit all of his crowd pleasing offense, including the Boom Drop. The end came when Bourne hit one of the sweetest Air Bournes you will ever see on Curt Hawkins. Awesome match.
