WWE RAW Results (1/9) – Brodus Clay Debuts, CM Punk vs Jack Swagger, Kane Attacks Again

Miz is with John Laurinaitis and David Otunga and he says it is unfair that R-Truth is still attacking him, and asks why no one is protecting him or putting a stop to it. John says Miz is bringing it on himself and he has alot to worry about because he is the special referee at the Royal Rumble and Brodus Clay will debut tonight. Miz says no one cares and asks for help, but John says Miz can get his own security because he is not little Jimmy, he is big Johnny, then Miz leaves as David Otunga nods approvingly. Miz is then shown trying to convince Mason Ryan to help him, but Mason declines and goes back in his locker room and leaves Miz standing in the hallway.

Zack Ryder is shown talking to his dad on the phone about Kane attacking him, then gets tough when he sees Eve comes up to him. She asks if he is OK and he says he is fine, and he says he wants to get something off his chest and asks her out. Eve thinks about it then says yes, but it will have to be after her match because she gets a title shot if she wins. Zack says he knows she can win then says goodbye and looks around for trouble before leaving, then Kane opens a door and pokes his head through before disappearing again.

Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan

Bryan shakes Kofi's hand then ties up and whips him into the corner but Kofi kicks him in the face and hits a crossbody for a two count and calls for Trouble In Paradise. Bryan ducks it and almost gets a rollup, but Kofi kicks out and goes for a springboard crossbody, but Bryan catches him on the way down and puts him in the LeBell Lock and gets him to tap out. Big Show comes out and says he wants to talk about last week but Bryan cuts him off and says he is feeling the same way, and he hates that Mark Henry got involved. He knows the title is too important to have a match like that, and says he will give Show a rematch anytime he wants, and Show says he is glad to hear that because they will have a rematch this Friday, and it is no disqualification.

Winner – Daniel Bryan
