Detailed Raw Onsite Report: Post-Show Results, Crowd Notes

WWE RawThanks to Ryan Winfield for sending in the following:

First of all, it was a pretty legit sellout. Very few individual seats open, no taped off sections. Very hot crowd.

The place went NUTS for Edge. By far the biggest pop of the night.

Lots of waiting around for all the video packages to play, especially in a 3 hour Raw, and the crowd got a little restless at times. The CM Punk sobriety thing was over huge with the crowd – even though Detroit booed their own cops.

Lesnar just murdered his promo. Butchered it. What was a crowd split down the middle at the beginning of the night turned decidedly in the favor of Cena by the end, especially when he came out with the chain. Weird for a Detroit crowd, but they are smart fans who realized how terrible Brock was. By the end of the overrun, the ring staff was in a near panic, with multiple cameramen signaling Lesnar that he needed to wrap it up now.

After Raw went off the air, Punk came down and tagged with Cena against Kane and Jericho. Double finishers by Punk/Cena gets the win. After, Punk says it was someone special's birthday (Cena) and VINCE'S music hits! He comes out and says that Cena deserves a special birthday, and invites the roster out. Everyone from the back (minus Kane) comes out to sing, heel or face. Before they start, HHH comes out to join. After the song, HHH makes Khali sing by himself, which was as good as you'd expect. Then all the divas go to the ring and dogpile on Cena to top off the celebration. By this time, the crowd was nearly 100% pro Cena.

Fantastic show topped off by a great dark segment, probably to make up for Brock!
