Backstage News On Heyman’s Return, WZ Report Confirmed?

Justin LaBar

The Wrestling Observer is reporting Paul Heyman's return to WWE programming was kept very quiet.

WWE creative was aware of Heyman's return so they could write him in the script, but literally everyone else was left in the dark until the last minute. Heyman was reportedly flown in to Greensboro, North Carolina and kept hidden all day. CM Punk was aware of the creative plans and was instructed to tease Heyman's return via Twitter to boost viewership.

The reports also claim Heyman has been involved in Lesnar's character over the past few weeks just not via the instruction of WWE. Several weeks ago, WZ columnist Mark Madden revealed on WZ's Chair Shot Reality that Paul Heyman was working with Brock Lesnar and his promos.
