WWE Raw Results

Report by Matt Boone for WrestleZone.com

WWE Raw Opener:

The show opens with some video highlights of last night's No Way Out PPV, narrated by Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler on commentary. They plug Cyndi Lauper's return to WWE later tonight. From there, Long Island native Mick Foley is introduced. The hardcore legend makes his way to the ring.

In-Ring Segment: Mick Foley & John Laurinaitis

Foley comes out in a suit. He said he's here as a blast from the past to promote the upcoming 1000th episode of Raw. He claimed WWE was looking for the next general manager of Raw now that Johnny is fired. He claims they are allowing former GM's to serve on an interim basis. Foley will be the host of Raw and Smackdown this week. Foley announces Daniel Bryan & Kane vs. Sheamus & CM Punk as a tag-match for tonight. Foley said Laurinaitis will get to give his farewell address tonight. Laurinaitis comes out. He's still on a crutch and has a sling on his arm and a neck brace. No god-awful red suit, however.

Laurinaitis asks everyone to keep it down. He gets boo'd relentlessly for that. He whispers something in Foley's ear. Foley tells the fans to keep the noise down. Foley then said Johnny said Long Island sucks. Laurinaitis grabs the mic and tells the crowd to shut up. He says he'll give his farewell address later instead. Before leaving, he announces his final action as GM last night was to make tonight's Raw main event. It will be John Cena in a handicap match against Big Show, David Otunga and himself. He tells Foley to "have a nice day" and limps off.

CM Punk & Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan & Kane

The match begins and the "Yes!" chants break out almost instantly. Cole notes on commentary that Punk has had the fourth longest WWE Title reign in 15 years. Early on, Punk knocks Bryan out to the floor and follows him out with a big suicide dive. Punk tries to hit a springboard move on Kane but Kane catches him with an uppercut. We head to a commercial. When we return, Punk is fighting his way out of a hold by Kane. Punk makes the tag to Sheamus. Sheamus is a ball of fire, dominating Kane and even knocking Bryan out to the floor. Kane finally fights his way back and is now in control of the offense. Kane hits a top-rope clothesline on Sheamus, then tags in Bryan. The crowd chants "Yes!" as Bryan lands every strike. Punk finally gets the hot tag and he's now dominating everything in sight. Out of nowhere, A.J. comes out wearing a Kane mask. A.J. distracts Kane, leaving Bryan to eat the finishers of both Punk and Sheamus before getting pinned.

Winners: CM Punk & Sheamus
