*Spoilers:* Another Live Fan Report From Smackdown Taping

WWE SmackdownThanks To Gene for sending in the following.

Went to Smackdown at First Mariner Arena tonight. Place was about 80% full. Baltimore usually turns up well for WWE events.

Missed Ryback "explosion" by about a minute.

Ryback squashes the two jobbers. He stood around for a little while after the match playing for the fans. Boring but fans were still excited.

Nobody cares about the Great Khali. Still. Why is he on TV? Him and Foley trying to make a beat. Horrendous.

Alberto Del Rio beat Christian in a GREAT match. Lots of back and forth and ADR barely manages to squeeze his submission on.

Everyone was waiting for Christian to come back but Cody just anti-anticlimactically beats him up and leaves.

Kane got a lot of cheers and there was a big sign for him in front of us. Daniel Bryan missed a move off the top rope but they redid the move on the opposite side. Pretty sure they will edit out the first shot because it looked bad.

SO many people were cheering for Daniel Bryan. TONS of Yes chants until the match, when many switched to "no, no, no". He is VERY over.

People were surprised to see Ryder out. Was at the PPV in Baltimore when Ryder won the championship in front of his dad. Much more tepid response now but that's to be expected.

Foley may have forgot where he was. After he delivered a joke about Johnny, he stopped, talked to someone at ringside, and asked the fans if he could start over.

Slater is very athletic and cocky. He really has no gimmick but he does a great job making others look good. Rough Ryder from out of nowhere for the rare Ryder squash.

Foley announced that instead of the advertised Cena vs. Laurinaitis and Show match we would get Otunga (instead of Johnny). Not cool.

Surprised to see this long promo for Hogan's "No Holds Barred" (?) remastered.

Fans around me were quite excited to see Sandow. Some yelling "Thank You Damien." He will be a star… if WWE lets him shine.

You could hear a pin drop during the tag match. NOBODY cared. The Players actually looked decent as they were having fun, but still had impact. The tag division should really be given a chance but unfortunately nobody knows these teams.

Santino came out to look for the best sign. I HAD THE BEST SIGN ! But he chose some very basic ones, until he picked a plant with an "I Love Santino" sign, who promptly came into the ring and planted a big and long one on Santino.

HHH was advertised to be there but for what? Well Swagger came out and did a promo (to VERY GOOD heat it seemed). Out of nowhere comes HHH to a HUGE pop. No speaking. Just a Pedigree for Swags and some waving. HHH hung out a little playing El Presidente with the kiddies at ringside. Hugs and kisses for all. Or at least fist bumps.

Main event was solid as well. Vickie looked great but ofcourse I was the guy with the "Marry Me Vickie" sign so I am a little biased. There were dueling "Lets go Sheamus/Lets go Ziggler" chants all match. Loud. This could be the perfect time to turn him face. But unfortunately (for him) he would have to split from Ms. Guerrero. Big pop for Sheamus as well. Brogue kick looks serious in person.

Dark match was the handicap affair. Cena gets beat up, Super Cena comes back… the usual. Now Johnny runs out to beat on Cena with a chair but… Gets an AA from Cena. We all go home happy.

Garcia thanked the lovely fans of Baltimore and promised to come back. She is a piece….

My name is Gene M. Love your site. Peace.
