WWE House Show Results (6/22): Bethlehem, PA

Dolph ZigglerSent in by Mike from the Lehigh Valley:

Matt Striker was the ring announcer and the show's host.  Stabler Arena about 80% full

Matches:

Jack Swagger vs. Justin Gabriel

Good match, Swagger had lots of heat.  Dolph Ziggler came out and distracted Swagger on the mic then Gabriel hit him with a kick then delivered the 450 splash for the win

Alex Riley vs. Bray Wyatt

Wyatt must have been a local guy.  He looked like Zac Brown from the Zac Brown band.  Not much to this match, Riley hits his finisher for the win but the finisher looked sloppy

Layla vs. Beth Phoenix for the Divas title

Typical Divas match; Layla and Beth were each trying to win over the crowd.  Layla wins the match to retain the title

Brodus Clay with Naomi and Cameron vs. David Otunga

Good pop for Brodus.  Otunga controlled most of the match by working the leg.  Otunga took off Brodus' knee brace then hit him repeatedly with it causing the referee to DQ Otunga.  Brodus takes Otunga down then brings kids into the ring to dance with him and the girls.

Santino Marella vs. Dolph Ziggler for the United States Championship in a fans voted "Bethlehem Street Fight"

To me, the best match of the night.  Ziggler stole the show as usual.  Canes and chairs were the objects used.  They took the fight into the crowd then Ziggler took some kid’s cotton candy and took a bit then hit Santino with it (He’s not Heel Ziggler for nothing).  Jack Swagger comes out and hits Ziggler then Santino hits the Cobra for the win.  After the match, Swagger is setting up his finisher but Ziggler avoids it and hits the Zig Zag leaving Swagger down in the ring.

R-Truth & Kofi Kingston vs. Epico & Primo with Rosa for the WWE Tag Team Championship

Kofi gets on the mic and says R-Truth is still out with an injury and he brings out Zack Ryder as his partner.  It was a fast paced and well done match.  Epico and Primo worked over Ryder until Kofi got the hot tag.  Epico hits the Back Stabber on Kofi for the 3 count but the referee missed Kofi’s foot on the bottom rope.  Striker announces Epico & Primo as new champions but another referee comes out from the back to over-rule it and the match is restarted.  Kofi hits the Trouble In Paradise on Epico and Ryder hits the Rough Ryder on Primo simultaneously to get the win.

John Cena vs. Big Show & Tensai & John Laurinaitis in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match

Cena had the loudest reaction of the night.  Laurinaitis starts on the mic by bringing out Tensai then Big Show.  Laurinaitis made a few tags while Cena was down then tagged back out.  Match ended with Big Show accidently hitting Tensai with the WMD then got an AA then Cena pinned Tensai for the win.  Laurinaitis waited after the match was over to hit Cena with a chair but he got an AA instead that ended the show.
