WWE Drops Ticket Prices Due to Poor Sales, “Rewind” Canceled

WWE SmackdownWWE Drops Ticket Prices Due to Poor Sales

Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, has issued the following to its regular customers:

"For a limited time, purchase a ticket and get upgraded to the next price level at no extra cost. That means if you purchase a ticket for $35, you'll be upgraded to a $45 seat."

The venue is making the move due to poor ticket sales for an upcoming WWE Smackdown event, despite John Cena and Triple H being advertised to appear, as well as the return of Randy Orton.

"Rewind" Canceled

According to F4WOnline.com, SpikeTV has canceled the "TNA Rewind" show after only one broadcast.

Last Thursday's episode, which was the first of what was to be a third hour of TNA TV added prior to Impact, drew a 0.2 cable rating. This rating is approximately one-third of what the network typically draws in the 7:00pm EST Thursday time slot.
