The Latest on Ric Flair Signing With WWE

According to The Wrestling Observer, Ric Flair's no-compete clause with TNA expires on September 6th, making him technically able to sign with WWE.

The feeling is, however, that with TNA's ongoing lawsuit against WWE still pending, it could take a few more months before WWE signs Flair.

WWE previously stated in court that it had no interest in signing TNA talent who were recently under contract, so if they were to hurry up and sign Flair after his no-compete expires, it would appear contradictory to the company's initial stance on signing former TNA talent.
