I recently had the privilege to interview one of the producers and filmmakers behind the "Unauthorized Documentary on ECW" project, John Philapavage. You've probably noticed the press releases and recent promotion for the project here on WrestleZone.
As one that was never much an ECW fan during its existence, yet has since found an appreciation and respect for what it accomplished, I'm really looking forward to this documentary. I encourage ALL wrestling fans to contribute to this Kickstarter project if possible. There might be other documentaries and reflective pieces about ECW already, but since when did it become possible to have "too much" information about something?
From what I can tell, and from what John says in this interview, there's a lot of great footage included in this project. It would be a shame for it to go to waste.
