WWE Attendance Numbers

WWE Summerslam, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, had an attendance of 14,205. The live gate drew $1,135,590. If you compaer this to UFC that was in Los Angeles two weeks earlier, they had over 16,000 fans in attendance, with a live gate of $1,044,453.

Other live gates for WWE House Shows average 3,000-3,600 fans. This number includes shows in Illinois and Minnesota. This is about the norm for WWE shows in smaller cities across the United States.

Ric Flair Going Through Divorce

It looks like the love life of Ric Flair is currently on the mend, as Ric is going through his fourth divorce, this time to wife Jacqueline Beems. Flair would be able to work for WWE beginning September 10th, but that date could be pushed back if the legal process gets in the way. WWE is still considering many ways to use Flair, and some has speculated that he could be used in a manager role for Dolph Ziggler.
