WWE RAW Results (9/10) – New #1 Tag Title Contenders, Bret Hart Returns To Montreal, Punk/Cena Face Off

Bill Pritchard

We go to footage of a deposition at Titan Towers from earlier today, and David Otunga and Ricardo Rodriguez are there concerning Sheamus' 'attack' last week. Sheamus says his last name is Lipschitz because he had a Jewish father, then he makes jokes about his upbringing and sings and claps. Otunga asks him about attacking referee Chad Patton and Daniel Bryan, then he says Sheamus inflicted trauma and pain on his victims. Sheamus' attorney says this is absurd, then Sheamus says he'll give him a demonstration and Brogue Kicks the camera and sings Hava Nagila.

Kaitlyn, Eve & Layla vs Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox & Natalya

Beth ties up with Kaitlyn and sends her into the corner, then Kaitlyn elbows her in the face and counters an Irish whip with a clothesline. Kaitlyn hits a forearm shot as Natalya blind tags in, then she smacks Kaitlyn in the face and hits a discus clothesline for a near fall. Alicia tags in and hits a bridging suplex for two, then she goes for a corner kick but Kaitlyn tags Layla in, and she drops Alicia with a facebuster. Layla gets a near fall then kicks her in the face, and she runs into the ropes but Eve tags herself in and hits a DDT for the win. Eve celebrates after the bell and Kaitlyn raises her arm, then Layla looks suspicious but ends up celebrating with them.

Winners – Kaitlyn, Eve & Layla

CM Punk goes up to AJ in the back and says John Cena doesn't have a match tonight, but he does, and he doesn't think it's fair at all. He says AJ is still pissed about him blowing her off, but she tells him that it could be worse and she could make him face Sheamus again. AJ says he walked out on everyone last week, and he is right in that a champion versus champion match should have more build up. She says the people get to decide his fate tonight, then she walks away and Punk turns around, and Brodus Clay is standing there smiling at him as we cut to a break.
