There seems to be a situation unfolding in Montreal during tonight's Monday Night Raw that involves Hall of Famer Jerry "the King" Lawler. There was a moment on commentary where both announcers went silent and Cole removed his headset. He then continued calling the match on his own, as the live crowd began chanting "Jerry, Jerry!" but almost immediately fell silent.
Arda Ocal is reporting that Lawler appears to have been convulsing, and then fell unconscious. He was then taken to the back by legitimate medical staff.
At this point it does not appear that this is a part of a storyline injury, and we hope all is well with the King. More on this story as it develops. Update (10:22pm EST): Michael Cole noted to the viewers that this situation is not part of tonight's "entertainment," and that Lawler is currently receiving CPR from the medical staff backstage.
