The referee for the Raw main event was Brad Maddox from WWE's developmental system. Maddox previously wrestled and held titles in FCW before moving over to becoming a referee.

WWE has announced "Mindfreak" Criss Angel will be the Social Media Ambassador for next week's Raw. Angel last appeared on WWE television as as the Raw guest host in March of 2010.
