This Week's Impact Wrestling Rating: Stiff Competition Ahead

Thursday's Impact Wrestling show drew a 1.01 television rating, up from the 0.97 rating from last week. This is good news, although next week TNA will be facing more competition.

Starting next week, all broadcast channels will be having "premiere week." With CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX, expect the ratings to take a hit. Impact Wrestling will continue to be live until the end of the year, announced earlier this week.

In comparison, NFL Thursday Night Football on NFL Network drew a 3.0 television rating, with over 7 million viewers. These numbers will grow because Time Warner Cable and NFL Network have agreed to a deal, adding 12 million more potential viewers.
