According to PWInsider.com, former star Scott Steiner has filed a countersuit against the company, alleging that TNA failed to provide "accounting of all royalty payments," failing to provide "royalty statements of all merchandise royalties and video royalties" and failing to pay "all royalties" due to him. He is claiming TNA was in breach of his contract as he claims the company was contractually obligated to perform all of the above.

Additionally, Steiner is asking for a judgment on a "yet to be determined amount," and he filed the countersuit on 9/10 in a Chancery Court of Tennessee in Davidson County. TNA originally sued Steiner for negative comments he made about Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff Bruce Prichard and the company itself. TNA claimed Steiner breached his contract with the company.
