WWE Smackdown Results (9/28) - Beth vs Natalya, Tag Team Tourney, Big Show vs Orton For Shot At WHC

Natalya vs Beth Phoenix

Beth asks for a handshake then they lock up and trade armbars, then Beth fights out of a headlock and throws Natalya into the ropes. Natalya shoves her and Beth tells her to back off, then Natalya slaps her in the face and Beth tackles her and punches her in the head. Beth hits a side Russian legsweep then goes up top, but Natalya catches her on the way down and puts her in a Sharpshooter. Beth crawls to the ropes but Natalya pulls her in the middle of the ring, then Beth once again makes it to the ropes and counters a crossbody with a Glam Slam for a near fall.

Natalya throws her in the corner but Beth kicks her in the face, then she goes for a roll through and Natalya shifts her weight, but Beth rolls forward and hooks her legs for the win. Eve comes out and says she's sorry for her actions on Monday, but they need to act rationally from now on. She says all they know is Kaitlyn was attacked by a blonde, then she indefintely suspends Beth and Natalya says she has nothing to do with it.

Teddy Long and Booker T are in the back talking about the tag team division, and Booker says now is a great time for a tag team tournament. He tells Teddy the winners get a shot against Daniel Bryan and Kane at Hell In A Cell, then Beth Phoenix walks in and demands some answers. Booker says he didn't know about the suspension so he is reversing it, then Beth leaves and Eve says she had the authority to do that. Booker tells her she doesn't get to do that, then she blames Teddy for influencing her decision and Teddy asks if she's serious. Eve leaves and Teddy proclaims his innocence, but Booker says he doesn't know what to believe anymore and leaves the room.
