Eve Torres vs Beth Phoenix

Eve tells Beth she's sorry about trying to suspend her, then she asks for a handshake but Beth pulls her towards her and tackles her on the mat. Beth punches her until the ref backs her away, then Beth stomps her in the corner and tries to run at her, but Eve moves and Beth hits the ringpost. Eve follows her outside and whips her into the ringpost, then she slams her head on the floor and whips her into the barricade. The ref has starts a count but Beth jumps in at nine, then she stuns Eve with an atomic drop and follows with a diving forearm for a near fall. Eve ducks under the ropes to delay the match, then the ref backs Beth away so Eve takes a cheap shot and drops her with a neckbreaker for the win.

The Rhodes Scholars are backstage talking about how great their name is, and Damien Sandow says it's because they didn't let the fans choose it. Cody Rhodes makes fun of Sheamus and the Championship debate, then they talk about how they will carry themselves like true champions when they win the tag titles. Elsewhere, AJ is backstage with her coach, Christopher J. Stevenson, and she introduces him to Wade Barrett, but Wade says she is doing a terrible job. Wade says he doesn't even have a match tonight, and she should stop letting personal feelings get in the way of her job and she should leave him alone. He walks away as AJ turns around to her coach, then he looks worried about the encounter and she says he looks intimidated by it all.

Santino Marella vs Heath Slater (w/ Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre)

Santino hits a shoulder block and Slater says that hurt, then Santino mocks him so Slater hits one of his own and goes for a near fall before applying a headlock. Santino breaks the hold but Slater comes back with a jumping side kick for two, then he bodyslams Santino before heading up top. Slater jumps but Santino kicks him in the face, then he misses a corner splash and Santino hits a few jabs and a diving headbutt. Santino calls for Cobra and hits Slater, but Jinder and Drew jump in the ring and beat him down to cause a disqualification. Drew drops Santino with a Future Shock DDT, then Slater says they better not forget who they are and they taunt the crowd and leave the ring.
