Report: Current Relationship Between Edge and WWE

PWInsider.com is reporting the relationship between Edge and WWE contains some friction.

As it has been reported in the past, WWE has offered Edge legends contracts but he's refused to sign. The first contract reportedly was insulting to Edge because of how low the amount of money was that the contract was worth.

The reports also claim Edge is getting some heat for his girlfriend Beth Phoenix leaving WWE. The belief is part of the reason she is leaving is for the sake of their relationship.

Edge is also booked for the highly publicized show House of Hardcore, promoted by Tommy Dreamer. Edge taking this high profile booking and doing media for the event has also rubbed WWE the wrong way.

WWE is expected to continue working with Edge from time to time in the future, but there still seems to be some unhappiness on WWE's end for Edge doing his own thing.
