Raw Rating: How Did Vince McMahon's Presence Effect Raw After Last Week's Record Low

According to ProWrestling.net, this week's episode of Monday Night Raw drew a 2.78 rating, averaging 4.12 million viewers, up nearly 600,000 viewers from last week's historic low. The main event advertised throughout the night was a fight between WWE Champion CM Punk and WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon. 

This is still well under Raw's target rating, but is good news following the reportedly chaotic scene backstage in the WWE. Vince McMahon has been extremely unhappy with the Raw product and its ratings recently, even going as far as to remove head creative writer Brian Gewirtz from his position.
