CM PunkAccording to Laura Cole of Sacramento.CBSLocal.com, Charles Schmidt, the fan struck by CM Punk Raw this week, is considering hiring an attorney for a possible lawsuit. The following is an excerpt from Cole's report:

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department took a report but said there won’t be an investigation because the fan didn’t want to press charges and didn’t appear to be injured.

The WWE did release a statement saying, “WWE regrets that proper security measures were not in place, and CM Punk apologizes for reacting in the heat of the moment.”

Schmidt says he is a little upset with Punk, but really he’s just shocked about how his night of entertainment ended with him getting smacked on live TV.

Schmidt said he is considering hiring an attorney for a possible lawsuit.
