WWE Monday Night Raw Results
CM Punk makes his way to the ring, still the WWE Champion, with Paul Heyman following close behind him. He tells the WWE Universe that they were all wrong because they thought the Ryback was unbeatable. He says he's been proving us all wrong since day one. Punk talks about Rey Mysterio, and "snatching him out of the sky" to put him to sleep. He talks about the Anaconda Vice being better than the Viper, and beating "WWE's resident Superman" John Cena. Punk then turns his attention to Ryback and the referee from Hell in a Cell. He claims he had nothing to do with Brad Maddox putting his hands on Ryback during the match, and the only thing he's guilty of is taking advantage of a situation in his favor.
Surprisingly, the "car crash" sounds and WWE hardcore legend Mick Foley makes his way down to the ring! Punk calls him a homeless man, displaced by the storms on the east coast. He asks Foley if he's just out there to embarass him, and Foley says Punk did a great job of embarassing himself inside Hell in a Cell. Foley says he gave him a choice a month ago, between being "a legend or a statistic". He says Punk had a chance to uphold the tradition of the Cell; Punk cuts him off and brings up Foley's hypocrisy about wrestling "tradition". Punk challenges Mick Foley to a "traditional" Survivor Series match, and Foley accepts "Team Foley vs. Team Punk" for next month's Survivor Series!
CM Punk says "it doesn't matter who you pick..." before being cut off by Ryback, who makes his way down to the ring. Punk and Heyman retreat through the crowd as Raw heads to its first commercial break.
(1) Ryback vs. JTG
JTG tries to avoid Ryback early on, but he eventually gets caught. Ryback simply scoops him up and slams him back down, before throwing him to the mat five more times! JTG is dazed as Ryback hits the Meathook clothesline and follows up with Shellshock for the quick victory.
After the match, Josh Matthews asks Ryback if he's looking for revenge. Ryback says revenge is an admission of pain, and that he's not hurt, he's hungry. Next time he "feasts", it's going to be on CM Punk. He leads the crowd in a "Feed Me Punk" chant to end the segment.
Coming up next: Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett.
