Mt. Killamanjaro: TNA Turning Point Preview – Looking Back on Last Year’s Show, Your Predictions, & More!

Last year at Turning Point, Mexican America was battling Ink Inc for the straps. I don’t care if you hate Chavo Guerrero, this year’s title picture is head, shoulders, and abdominals better than that junk. That might seem harsh, but ask yourself this question: do you miss anybody in that match? Hernandez is better off with Lax 2.0, as Chavo is at the very least a competent ring veteran. No. But I think they could surprise us with a really fun, fast-paced tag team bout in the middle of the Turning Point card. It’s nice to have some wholly uncomplicated rivalries once in a while, isn’t it?

My Prediction: Like most of you, I see the current champions retaining. They’re not the better of the two teams, but if superiority ruled booking on a consistent basis, Beer Money and MCMG would still be deadlocked in the midst of a “Best of 500” series. If only…
