WWE Makes WrestleMania 29 Ticket Sales Announcement; Event Breaks Two Records

WWE has sent in the following announcement concerning WrestleMania 29 ticket sales:

Tickets to WrestleMania 29 at MetLife Stadium went on sale to the public this past Saturday. Demand for tickets was at an all-time high as WWE broke two records:

·         Most tickets sold during the first day of on-sale at 52,029 (beating WrestleMania 18 held on March 17, 2002 at Toronto’s SkyDome, which had 51,620 tickets sold in day one).

·         Highest gross ticket revenue after day one with more than $10 million (beating WrestleMania 28 held on April 1, 2012 at Miami’s SunLife Stadium, which grossed $6.3 million in revenue in day one).
