Tonight's show starts off with a video package that highlights Big E. Langston's attack on John Cena last night on Raw, and the feud between Big Show and Sheamus culminating at TLC. Tonight's main event will be a tag team match between John Cena and Sheamus vs. Big Show and Dolph Ziggler.

Lillian Garcia welcomes us to Smackdown and introduces us to the Miz, who makes his way out for MizTV. He makes a joke about Lindsey Lohan and a moving vehicle, before bringing out Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee. The two come out hand-in-hand, and even kiss on their way down to the ring. They are followed by Big E. Langston. Miz asks them simply, "why?"

AJ tells him to ask John Cena why she toyed with her emotions. She says all she wanted was to keep John Cena's name clean, and so she lost her job as General Manager of Raw to protect him. She rolls footage of their first kiss, and says she thought it was the start of something beautiful, but he was just playing with her heart. Apparently AJ was the one who made the ridiculous Cena bows that Vickie Guerrero showed him, that he then rejected. He then told her to stay backstage while she just wanted to support him. AJ brings up Daniel Bryan and CM Punk, and how Cena was supposed to be better than all of that, but he isn't.

Miz calls AJ crazy, and Big E. gets in his face. She explains that Langston doesn't like it when people call her crazy. Dolph Ziggler now gets involved, and says AJ isn't "crazy", she's just passionate. He says John Cena can keep the Slammy for Superstar of the year, because he doesn't need it. He says he stole the show, just as he stole Cena's girlfriend. Miz tells Ziggler he hopes he can satisfy all of AJ's multiple personalities, and Langston attacks him, hitting his unnamed finisher.

Backstage Teddy Long catches up with Booker T and tells him to take a look at a kid, and potentially give him a contract. The camera comes around and reveals Brad Maddox. Book pulls Teddy aside and they talk about everything he did to Ryback. Teddy says they shouldn't be afraid of a little controversy, and they agree to give Maddox a tryout match later on during the show.

(1) Damien Sandow vs. Sin Cara

Rey Mysterio's music hits, but he never comes out.

Damien Sandow quickly grounds Sin Cara, working over his leg to take out his high flying game. Cody Rhodes gets involved whenever the referee is distracted, making sure that Sin Cara can't gain any offense. Sandow gets him in a side headlock, but he battles back with the momentum of the crowd, but Sandow breaks the hold to hit him with a Russian leg sweep. He goes right back into the headlock, as the commentary team is having some sort of ridiculous discussion – Michael Cole is on hand for this live special, by the way – until Sin Cara breaks up the hold. Sandow goes for a splash in the corner, but Sin Cara ducks under it and springboards off the second rope with a flying splash of his own. Top rope crossbody connects, but he only gets a two-count.

A dropkick sends Cody to the outside, as the Shield are shown making their way down to ringside. Roman Reigns throws Rey Mysterio's mask into the ring. Sin Cara picks it up, and Sandow takes advantage of the distraction to pick up the win with his finisher.

Winner: Damien Sandow

After the match, the Shield attacks Sin Cara. Reigns and Dean Ambrose hold his leg flat across the mat, as Seth Rollins comes down off the top rope with a diving knee drop. The Shield leaves the ring as medics tend to Sin Cara.
