Results by Mike Killam for Wrestlezone.com

Following a recap video package, Impact opens with "The Icon" Sting making his way to the ring – in killer face paint, might I add; looks like the "Insane Icon" routine is over – followed by Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle. He tells D.O.C. he'll be looking for him at Genesis this weekend. Sting say she brought his close friends to the Impact Zone, and tells the Aces & Eights to come get some.

Samoa Joe takes the mic and says that last week, in the steel cage, the Aces & Eights might have had him outmatched, but he was never out done. He tells them the inevitability is that he will beat them down, and choke them out. The Impact Zone is fired up, chanting for Kurt Angle. He responds by saying he made a promise to expose each and every one of the Aces & Eights, and he made good on that last week in the main event. Tonight, Angle says he wants to expose somebody else that aligned with the Eights last week. He calls out Mr. Anderson to explain himself, and come clean with just whose side he is on.

Anderson comes down, without the usual mic drop and "Anderson…Anderson" gimmick. He says this is "rich", because none of them came to his rescue when he was taken out by the Aces & Eights several months ago. He says the irony is he was on his way not to stand against them, but with them. And Sting not only didn't help him, but he replaced him right away with his pal, Bully Ray. Kurt Angle says it's real simple: either Anderson is with them, or there's going to be a fight.

Anderson gets in the ring and says that he doesn't need to answer to Kurt Angle, and to tell the truth he never really liked him anyways. Angle says the feeling is mutual, and takes a shot at Anderson. The two brawl until Anderson escapes the ring and walks away shaking his head. The commentary team says that it looks like Angle vs. Anderson tonight, but there will indeed be a tag team match in tonight's main event featuring Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, Jeff Hardy and James Storm.
