ProWrestling.net is reporting that former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Diamond Dallas Page, was recently contacted by WWE as a potential surprise entrant in tonight's WWE Royal Rumble match. At this time, it appears as though their discussion fell through, and he will not be appearing during tonight's show.
DDP was last seen during WWE Monday Night Raw's 1000th episode in July of 2012.
