Following up on a recent report of independent wrestler 'The Big O' getting a TNA Gut Check tryout, the Fayetteville Observer recently posted an article about the event. The article features quotes from Big O as well as from trainer D'Lo Brown, which you can view below:
D'Lo on what they expect from the competitors:
"Normally by now I've kicked someone out of the seminar," said Brown, noting the higher-than-expected talent level of those in attendance. "But these guys are really solid. I've got high hopes for this group, but they've got to learn to crawl before they can fly."
Big O on what's most important for him to learn while training:
"You've got to have good basics - a good foundation. You definitely want to show off what you can do, but for me it's always about safety first. And once you earn that trust between you and your opponent, then you can cut loose a bit more."
D'Lo Brown continues to work as a trainer and agent for Impact Wrestling. Big O will next appear in an eight man elimination tag match at this weekend's Pro Wrestling Syndicate show. You can read the entire article at the following link.
