3/7 TNA Impact Wrestling Results – Aces & Eights VP Revealed, Best-of-3 Series & More

(5) Third Match in a Best-of-3 Series

Ken Anderson vs. "The Cowboy" James Storm

The two trade blows back and forth with James Storm getting the advantage, until the Aces & Eights come from the back entrance to cause the distraction. Team Sting hits the ringside area to even the odds, but neither team actually inteferes in the match. Anderson gets the Mic Check out of nowhere, and pins Storm in a short match.

Results: Ken Anderson wins via pinfall

After the final commercial break of the night, Bully Ray makes his way to the ring with his wife, Brooke Hogan. World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy is out next, and our Lockdown challengers stare each other down. Bully tells everyone that he wants to say something he's never said to Jeff Hardy, even though they've known each other for what seems like decades. He talks about everything Hardy has had to do to climb back to the top of TNA, and to overcome his personal demonds, and tells Jeff that he is proud of him.

Jeff Hardy talks about overcoming Bobby Roode and Austin Aries, and having to wait in line behind the James Storms and Kurt Angles of the TNA roster. He says that whatever happens at Lockdown, he is also proud of his opponent. Bully Ray then takes the mic again and says that he's always been proud of his accomplishments, because he expects everything of himself, but he has never been able to look himself in the mirror and say he's proud of who he's become. Bully claims he won't go over the top of the cage, and he won't exit the door – he's going to beat Jeff Hardy with his best move, pin the champion, and raise the World Heavyweight title over his head.

Hulk Hogan's music hits, and after a minute of stalling, the Hulkster is back in the Impact Zone. Pyro goes off and he cuts his music short, and takes his crutches in one hand. Hogan says Bully Ray and Jeff Hardy are the best of the best, and TNA has become a good little company destined for greatness. He says everyone in TNA is looking for the next leader, and if he has to take his crutches and crawl to Lockdown, he's going to find out who the World Heavyweight Champion is. Hogan says "may the best man win" as the Aces & Eights surround the ring.

Bully gets Brooke out of the ring as Team TNA and the Aces & Eights start a giant brawl to end the night.
