4/8 WWE Monday Night Raw Results – Ziggler Cashes In, Barrett Wins Intercontinental Title, and the Best WWE Crowd in Years!

Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox are backstage talking about the success of WrestleMania. Sheamus interrupts them, and demands a match with the Big Show later on tonight. Maddox says that if they grant him the match, he owes them one. Vickie books the match for later tonight.

Booker T is shown walking through the backstage area, and Randy Orton stops him and congratulates him on his Hall of Fame induction. He asks for a favor – a singles match with Big Show later tonight. Booker says that Vickie already scheduled Sheamus for one, and Orton butters him up, telling him he's a Hall of Famer with more power than Vickie Guerrero. He decides to make the match: Orton and Big Show, later tonight.

Handicap Match

Zeb Colter & Jack Swagger vs. Alberto del Rio

Ricardo is ringside for this match, still on his crutches. Zeb doesn't really get into the match, but causes enough of a distraction for Swagger to keeping picking him apart, working over the leg for the Patriot Lock. As the ref confronts Swagger, Coulter chokes the champion in the ropes from behind. Swagger locks in the Patriot Lock, but del Rio rolls out of it and gets under the ropes. A high knee from the challenger sends ADR out of the ring and into the barricade as we head to another commercial.

We come back and del Rio fights out of a half crab and escapes to the corner. Swagger charges, but goes shoulder-first into the ring post. Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker connects, but the champion only gets a two-count. Del Rio goes for the Cross Arm Breaker, but Swagger counters into a huge running power slam. Patriot Lock is in, and the crowd chants "we want Ziggler". ADR locks in the Cross Arm Breaker out of nowhere, and and Swagger taps out.

Results: Alberto del Rio wins via submission
