Smackdown Getting a Heel GM?
WWE had plans to turn Booker T heel in the coming weeks, however that idea has been scrapped and it appears as if Teddy Long will be turning heel at some point to become the new heel General Manager of Smackdown.
Original Plans for Lesnar vs HHH, Backstage Rock Concern
The original plan for Brock Lesnar vs Triple H was to see the two have their "rubber match" at some point down the line but not at Extreme Rules. The plans changed when the angle between The Rock and Brock Lesnar could not happen on Raw last week, which would have setup a match between them at SummerSlam.
It should be noted that there is growing concern within WWE that The Rock might never wrestle again following his WrestleMania injury.
Editor's Note: This is not part of the original F4WOnline.com report, but my speculation as to why there is concern with The Rock's wrestling status is less because WWE feels he won't recover from the injury, and more that they fear pressure from Hollywood producers/agents will prevent Rock from getting back into the ring.
As we reported earlier this week, Rock has had to pull out of several media appearances for "Pain & Gain" due to his injury, and he had to pull out of the MTV Movie Awards show. This had to have upset movie producers, PR teams, etc, and those same people might fear hiring The Rock down the line if he continues to subject himself to potential injury by wrestling matches.
