5/2 TNA Impact Wrestling Results – Kurt Angle in “I Quit” Match, Sting Takes on Matt Morgan & More

The Aces & Eights are in their clubhouse, and Bully Ray is freaking out about Hogan and Sting mocking him in the ring. He says he's not worried, because whether Matt Morgan or Sting wins tonight, he'll get the job done in Boston. They turn their intention to Kurt Angle, who has been a thorn in their organizations side since day one. He tells them to man up and get the job done tonight. Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff argue over who is going to take out Angle tonight – D'Lo Brown steps up and says it's going to be him to face off against the Olympic gold medalist.

Rob Terry vs. Joey Ryan, Jessie Godderz & Robbie E

The numbers game is a bit too much for the big man to handle at the start, as they make quick tags and keep him off his feet. Eventually all three of them start to pile on top, but Terry shoves them all off and takes them down individually with clotheslines. Jessie and Robbie E take a double suplex, and Terry hits Joey Ryan with the Freakbuster for a three-count.

Winner: Rob Terry

Bobby Roode and Austin Aries make their way out, and are scheduled for tag team action next week against Bad Influence. Bobby Roode talks about them getting in his head, talking about getting the "band" back together. Aries says that there's a big difference between the four of them. Bad Influence are former tag champions, but they are former World Champions, and that is something Chris Daniels and Kazarian will never know anything about.

Bad Influence makes their way out, and Chris Daniels talks about it all being about the tag team championships. Roode says he broke a bottle over his best friend's head to win the World title, and they will do whatever it takes. Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez make their way out to interrupt the whining. Chavo says all the four of them ever do is talk, and talking time is over. He announces that next week, the two teams will face off for the #1 contender's spot, and the next man to come out will be the special guest referee…

"Sorry about your damn luck" sounds over the speakers, and James Storm comes out with a 6-pack of beer. He toasts with the champs and stares down the four men in the ring.
