5/2 TNA Impact Wrestling Results – Kurt Angle in “I Quit” Match, Sting Takes on Matt Morgan & More

After the match, Kurt Angle calls out AJ Styles and tells him to get his ass out to the ring. After a commercial break and several moments, Styles comes down and Angle tells him he doesn't look right. He says this is his home town, and if he should try to take his head off like he did "The Cowboy" James Storm, he isn't going to get very far. Angle talks about everyone trying to recruit AJ Styles, and going with the Aces & Eights would be the easy way out. He says that Styles was the reason he came to Impact Wrestling, because the two of them put on some of the greatest matches of all time. Angle announces himself as one of Sting's partners against the Aces & Eights next week, and Styles better have an answer by next week as to whether they are with TNA, or against them.

Gail Kim & Tara vs. Terryn Terrell & Mickie James

ODB is once again the referee for this Knockouts match. Mickie James starsts off the match, and is in control of Gail Kim. Eventually Tara gets tagged in and goes on the advantage, and the heels trade off with quick tags, keeping Mickie off her feet. Tara levels Taryn with a huge slap across the face, but ODB keeps her from getting into the match. Gail is in now, and stomps away in the corner. Mickie gets her boots up and takes out Kim who runs to the corner, and both girls take each other out with crossbodies at the same time.

Taryn and Tara with hot tags, and Terrell hits a snap suplex on her opponent. Diving crossbody off the top connects, but Gail Kim breaks up the pin. Mickie and Gail fight to the outside, and Taryn rolls up Tara for a three-count.

Winners: Terryn Terrell & Mickie James

After the match, the heels beat up on the faces. Mickie and Gail brawl up the entrance ramp as Gail Kim continues to attack the rookie in the ring. She hits Eat Da'Feet and leaves her laying in the ring. Apparently Gail isn't done, and wraps Taryn around a ring post and locking her in the Figure Four, hanging to the floor for leverage.
