Bill Pritchard

We get back from a commercial to see Brooke Hogan running up to Bully Ray and asking what he meant before, and Bully says yes, he still loves her. We cut to Mickie James and Velvet Sky talking about her match tonight, and Mickie wants to make sure Velvet can wrestle tonight. She says she can go to Brooke and have the match postponed, but Velvet says she's ready and she doesn't want Gail Kim to get away. Mickie says OK and says she'll see her out there, then they hug and Mickie leaves as Velvet continues to get ready.

We are scheduled to see Sam Shaw versus Alex Silva, and Shaw comes out but Silva never makes his entrance, then Wes Brisco, DOC and Garret Bischoff come out and Wes says Shaw should thank him. He says he knocked out Silva and left him bloodied in the parking lot, then he says he should be in the tournament because he is Mr. Gut Check. Wes leads his stable mates to the ring, then Shaw tries to defend himself but the Aces get the best of him and attack him in the corner. Magnus runs out and makes the save, then he says he doesn't like the gang attacks on the young guys, and Shaw is one of his friends. Magnus says he'll smack the smiles off of their faces, and Wes isn't in the tournament because he doesn't deserve it, but he should get his teeth kicked in. Magnus says tonight's his lucky night, because he gets his gut check by going one on one with him right now.

Magnus vs Wes Brisco

Magnus hits him a few times as the bell rings, then he knees Wes and drops him with a gutwrench throw and some mounted punches. Wes rolls outside as we go to a break, then we get back to see Wes kick Magnus in the corner and hit him with a few right hands. Wes taunts the crowd and puts Magnus in a headlock, then he punches him in the chest and goes for a quick pin attempt. He whips Magnus into the ropes and elbows him, then he goes back to a headlock but Magnus makes it to his feet. Magnus takes a few punches before clotheslining Wes, then he sends him into the ropes and hits a second clothesline. Magnus runs to the corner but Wes kicks him in the face, then he leaps off the ropes but Magnus catches him and suplexes him. Magnus goes up top but Wes cuts him off, then they struggle for position before DOC and Garret interfere and get Wes disqualified. Samoa Joe runs out and saves Magnus, then the Aces talk trash from the crowd as Joe stands on the turnbuckles, looking like a man possessed.

Winner (by disqualification) – Magnus
