2013 TNA Slammiversary Results – Three Championships Change Hands, Sting’s Fate Decided & More!

Out comes TNA President Dixie Carter. She thanks the fans for eleven years of TNA, and all the stars that have made the company what it has become. She welcomes the entire TNA roster, and they all (except for Aces & Eights, obviously) come out to celebrate the second inductee into the Hall of Fame. And the next inductee into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame is…Kurt Angle!

They run a video package covering his entire TNA career, and everyone is on their feet for an emotional Olympic gold medalist. Angle says he wasn’t expecting this honor, and talks about having a ton of great moments in Boston. He says he just wanted to make the fans proud, and thanks Dixie Carter and her husband for the chance in TNA, and says there’s a lot of guys on the ramp that are deserving. He names specifically AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode and James Storm, and calls them all the best wrestling roster in the world.

Backstage, Bad Influence join JB to talk about the upcoming tag team title match. Chris Daniels says that two years ago, the belts didn’t mean a damn thing. They weren’t even defended at Bound for Glory. And then the two of them arrived on the scene and made the company legitimate enough to bring in Chavo Guerrero, to unite Roode and Aries, and to bring together a cowboy and a viking. Kazarian says Storm disgusts him, and Gunner will never be a god-gifted athlete like them, and gives us permission to worship them…now.
