Alberto punches Jericho in the corner and sets him up on the top turnbuckles, then he goes for an inverted superplex but Jericho shoves him back and hits a crossbody for two. Jericho ducks a clothesline and chops him, then he sends Alberto into the ropes and hits a flying forearm and a Northern Lights suplex for two. Jericho goes after Alberto and takes a kick to the stomach, then Alberto throws him in the corner and tries to tackle him. Jericho sidesteps him and Alberto hits the ringpost, then Jericho attempts a Codebreaker but Alberto is able to block it. Jericho instead goes for Walls of Jericho but that is countered, then Alberto kicks him away and superkicks him for another near fall.
Alberto calls for the finish but Jericho counters with a bulldog, then he goes for a Lionsault but Alberto gets his knees up and locks in the Cross Armbreaker. Jericho counters with Walls of Jericho, then he tries to get Alberto to tap but Ricardo runs in and hits him in the back of the head with his bucket. Dolph Ziggler runs down and tries to help Jericho, then Jericho drops Ricardo with a Codebreaker and Dolph nails Alberto with a Zig Zag. Dolph and Jericho have a staredown before Jericho tries to leave, but Dolph drops him with a Zig Zag and screams at Jericho as he rolls out of the ring.

Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox are talking about an upcoming segment when Vickie tells him to cancel it, then Triple H walks in and says he heard a bad rumor. He says he heard Vickie was going to cancel the Daniel Bryan versus Randy Orton match, and she says she is because of what Vince McMahon said. HHH says it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, because the fans like Bryan and he wants the match to continue. HHH says the fans should pick the stipulation in tonight's match, then he says he thinks that will work out just fine. He says Vickie should just listen to him and she'll succeed, then Vickie says she will take care of it and HHH mocks Maddox's shirt before leaving.
