Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow in a street fight. Once again, Sheamus looks strong and Sandow looks like he cannot win the big one. I thought the planning of the match was solid. You had Sandow become a little crafty, trying to avoid the dangerous weapons. We had the men fight to the outside and throw each other into the steel steps. I love that about a street fight. The sound of impact sounds so intense, even if they know how to hit into them. Sheamus tried to set up White Noise, but Sandow reversed it right into a Brogue Kick. Sheamus won and won in strong fashion. When will they realize that the younger guys need to piece together consecutive wins? It seems to never happen these days.
Natayla defeated AJ Lee in a match that was all about retribution. Natalya gets the win because Kaitlyn comes out dressed as AJ, flipping the switch on her. I loved it. Keep this mind game going between former friends. They will get a rematch, but this is finally a step in the right direction for WWE. I just wonder how long they can keep this going? Money in the Bank should be the rematch. They cannot hold it until August.
Ryback defeated Justin Gabriel in a basic squash match. Another night, another step back for Ryback. Chris Jericho comes out and calls him Cryback, which gets a laugh and chant from the crowd. Jericho comes into the ring and exchanges blows. He locks in Walls of Jericho until he kicks out and runs away. I do not like Ryback vs. Jericho, but this was a positive step for both guys in their random feud. If you want Ryback to learn how to be in a feud without actually being himself, pair him with Jericho. Chris Jericho gets the best out of everyone. Ryback can learn so much, if he hasn't already.
