*Spoiler:* TNA Retires Suicide Character; TJ Perkins’ New Persona Revealed

Mike Killam

During this Saturday's Impact Wrestling television taping, set to air on July 4th of next week, it was revealed that TNA is no longer using the Suicide character, after Austin Aries disguised himself as such in order to win the X-Division title.

The man behind the mask, TJ Perkins, will instead be known as Manic. Perkins is a 28-year-old veteran of the business, having started pro wrestling when he was eighteen, and wrestling between Mexico, Japan and the United States for over ten years. In the US, he has worked for both Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and even made random appearances for TNA over the years.

Perkins was introduced to Impact Wrestling last week on Impact Wrestling, when Hulk Hogan brought him out to the stage and revealed Austin Aries as the impostor who jumped him from behind.
