Scott Hall’s Son Speaks on Breaking Into Wrestling; Paying Tribute to His Legendary Father

Mike Killam

Cody Hall, son of WWE and WCW legend Scott Hall (aka Razor Ramon) recently spoke with Wrestlezone's own Justin LaBar and the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on breaking into the wrestling business, and following in his iconic father's footsteps.

He is also taking care not to fall into the same traps as the former NWO co-founder, who has suffered with a long history of drug and alcohol abuse. However, Cody doesn't seem worried -

"I hope I don't go into the same pitfalls, because I have an example to learn from. I really just want to stick to my beliefs now and stay away from all that stuff. Maybe be a better example for somebody else.”

As for his recent inspirations, Hall stated "I've been watching a lot of Barry Windham lately." Much like his father, he studies the bigger wrestlers "who can move around well: Terry Gordy, Dick Murdoch, a lot of older stuff. A lot of Japanese workers. Try to find stuff you don't see in America as much.”
